Today i got to spend a little more time with my truck. I put on the 72 upper and lower arms and spindles with rotors. It was really easy with the parts from a 72 truck. I just cleaned everything up and primed and painted and buy new rotors and hardware. Maybe this can help someone wanting to do a front disk swap. Im only half way there i still need to mount the power steering gear box and drag link oh yeah and calipers, brake line. gotta have those. anyways here are a few pics.

Aaaahhhh... Nothing like making progress. That should make you feel good when you step back and look at it too. Nice work!! Now go get that beer and celebrate!

Very Nice... Now if I can only find a donor! Keep us posted on the other stuff like running the brake lines and such. What about your MC?

Thanks salazar44, I also have the brake booster, MC and braket from the 72.

I'm going to pop a 73-87 crossmember on mine very soon and you install gave me a VERY good idea; since I'll have to yank the engine/trans anyway, why not remove the inner and outer fenders at the same time to make this all a LOT easier.

I did it the hard way and re-ran brakes lines with engine and everything in and let me say it was a pain. If you have to remove anyway that is the way to go.

Looks good, wouldn't mind putting power disc brakes on the front of my '63.

i think im just gonna swap out the whole front crossmember off a 87 burban over to my 63! i dont know what im gonna do with the rest of the burban though????

Scavenge any part that you can use or sell and haul what's left to the crusher. One of the local crushers is paying $7.50/100 in my area. Your area could be a little more or a little less. That way you can buy more parts for your toys!
