Power Steering Conversion Kit?
Hello To everyone. I have been a member for a while but this is my first post. If anyone can give me their opinion it would be appreciated.
I have a 1970 Chevy C/10 short bed step side, with manual steering. I'm currently installing the disc brake conversion and wondering if I should convert to power steering? Brothers has a sale on the complete kit. |

Re: Power Steering Conversion Kit?
Personally? I would do it, if it is cost effective. The new kit should come with a new pitman arm, the power steering gearbox, hoses, resevoir, pump and possibly brackets. I did a writeup in the FAQ Truck-Tech section about rebuilding steering while upgrading to power steering if you wanted to get an idea about the process.
