67-68 Buddy buckets, MN

I got this set from a junkyard find last fall. There was a window or two missing, so the weather did it's thing. The frame seems pretty good and the center sections moves easily. But as you can see from the pictures, they will need to be recovered, re-foamed, frame sandblasted and painted, basically the full rebuild. The parts that bolt to the floor are fine, what you see in the pictures are the pieces of floor from the donor truck. The yard just cut the floor to remove them and I had no reason to change it.

Because of the size, I will not ship them, but I am willing to meet a buyer within a reasonable distance for a fee. I live in Sleepy Eye, MN, which is about 50 miles north of Iowa and 100 miles east of SD. My job takes me all over the state of MN, so if there is no hurry for delivery, we may be able to work something out. I would just need a deposit at time of sale. My asking price is $275, but I will consider offers. I just want to get them out of my overcrowded garage.

I know you say you don't want to ship, but Greyhound is pretty easy.

Not from where I am. I've done it before on a blazer rear hatch. The closest drop off is an hour away and is not a greyhound location. It was a hotel.

I really only need the 2 bucket seats, are you willing to separate? I know bobvilla needed the mounting bracket, maybe we can work something out.

If you want to contact him and work something out, I'll separate, but it all has to be sold together. I don't care where the pieces end up. The frame is the problem though. The seats are easy enough to box up, but the frame isn't. I sold some buckets last fall and I think shipping was about $100 for two boxes.

How often do you get to the Sioux Falls area... My brother lives there, I might be interested if I could work out some storage idea with him as well as getting them there.

You're next in line. Yes I do occassionally get around Sioux Falls. If you want the seats, please decide soon, others are waiting.

Bryanschevyparts is next in line, then 1968chevyfever.
