i hate fords
god now i konow why i am a chevy guy i tryed to doo drums on my friend 66 ford and its a 1/2 ton cut down to a short bed and his axels have 8 lugs but the only shoe that will fit it are for a 1/2 ton so did ford make 8lug rears for the half ton or is it just a hodge podge

Never seen anything like that. No 8 lug 1/2 ton stuff. They did make a 5 lug version of the Dana 60 for those years of truck. Since it's a cut down long bed, it sounds like a conglomeration.
