Pics of Firestone Bags installed

I need a pic of the rear bags installed. I need it without the bed on so I can see how the top of the bag is installed to the frame. Firestone has the two studs coming out of the top. I assume I can run my lines coming out of the original hole in the frame that would be used to mount the top of the coil spring.

thanks

Not sure if it's a Firestone but it can be mounted in similar fashion . . ....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Pics of Firestone Bags installed

I guess I should have clarified that I need a pic from the inside of the frame rail to see how the top two bolts are mounted.

sorry I don't have picks, but I just drilled two holes through the frame for the studs to fit through, and I believe that is a firestone in that pic.

I don't have that cup at the top of mine, so it threw me off.

That's a bag cup, its not attached to the bag itself, its one of the ones for the front, so I'm guessing the owner went and put that on so he doesn't have to drill through the frame.

you still have to attach that cup to the frame somehow.. it doesnt look welded either.. so i'm assuming its an s10 style cut with the 1 stud through the middle, with ahole in the frame.

The stud is attached to the 'hat/cup' & that stud would go through the original hole that retained the OE coil spring. This method requires the least amount of drilling.

Yep...

I've never seen an upper front bag mount w/o the stud, my fullsize bag mounts from back in the day had them I know.
