who`s racing 60-66 trucks
Lets see some pics of 60-66 chevy/gmc trucks that hit the strip. Full time or street/strip is cool. I just want to see who`s running these year trucks. List your truck specs too. I just got a 62 a couple weeks ago and it`ll be a while before it`s on the road but I`m planning to run somewhere in the 12`s with it.

Re: who`s racing 60-66 trucks
I have a '66 Chevy 1/2t LWB that I street-drive and drag. I'm running a 434 sbc, TH350 with an 8" converter, truck 12-bolt with a Moser spool, 4.88s, and Moser 30 spline axles. It weighs 3930 with me in it and has run a 7.27 @ 94 with a 1.53 60' without the n2o. I haven't ran this motor with spray yet, but it will see some this season.
With the tuneup it has in it right now, you can drive it anywhere on pump gas. I plan on spraying it on pump gas, as I was originally planning on entering the Pump Gas Drags with it. If I can get some pics of it, I'll post them. Good luck with yours! |

Re: who`s racing 60-66 trucks
Thanks for the kind words, i know my brother inlaw would be happy ...I mean it's his money..lol..the truck has changed a little since those pic ...we put in the four link ,and straightened out the suspension and drive line. We had major probelms launching the truck. Think we have it figured out now.We took two years off from racing and bought a new car, so we are going to get him back out now in the truck ,try and clip off some high nine passes and get him his license.

Re: who`s racing 60-66 trucks
I have a 63 with a LS1/4L80E powering it. Going to the track this weekend and hopefully going to pull 11.9x's on the motor and 10.9x on the bottle. I'll post up some new video after the trip to the track..
