Bagged w/coys and pics

Finally got it on the ground. Yes, my tires are on the wrong direction. Wheels are 18x8 and 20x10. 3" Drop spindles, RE7's on all four, 73+ disc front with glocks camaro rear disc setup. Front is sitting on fender wells and rear axle is on frame. I'm building a backhalf with 4 link canti setup and the fender wells are coming out! Front frame Z and body mount drop after my Classic Auto Air A/C install.

Looking good. What size tires are you running? It looks like you have a good amount of sidewall which I like.

235/50-18's and 295/40-20's....Also, I went with Falken tires because I did not like the aggressive tread pattern the Toyo's have. I figured the Toyo's would take away from the nostalgic look of the wheels. The Falken's look really good but not sure about the quality. They were about the same price as the Toyo's.

That's wild. There's a board member that was from TX (DFW area IIRC) that moved to AZ. He was building a red/brown primered 68 using 18/20 Coys combo (and looking into a GEN III swap I think).

Where in the neighborhood are you?

Those Falkens are great tires. I've had a couple sets. They have really good wear ratings.

Indeed - Looks great!! I'm in your neck of the woods too....we need to get all of the N. Tx guys together some time. Mine is coming along really well right now....working my 70' SWB towards being a slammed/tubbed "farm truck" with a really pissed-off SBC....should be rolling by June or so.

BTW - I've been looking a Coys as an alternative set too....can fit a huge tire on back of mine, but was wondering about the stagger. Are the 20's even an option, or just too big on front?

Nice truck and great stance! I just ordered my RE-7s and am getting ready to order the same size Coys wheels. I'd be curious to hear about your experience with Coys in terms of delivery as I keep hearing different stories. What back space did you go with?
Can we get some pics of the truck out of the garage? I'd like to get a good look at that front tire as I'm not sure what size I'm going to run.
You say the axle is on the frame - are you running a C - notch?
Any pics of panhard and shock set-up?
If you've driven the truck, I'd be curious to get your impression of the ride.
Sorry for all the questions; it's just that you and I will have the same set-up until you take the plunge and go "all-in".

Thanks. Call Coys directly and you will have them in 2-3 weeks if they've got
what you want in stock. I called and asked them about ET style lugs so I could run spacers in the rear. The guy said no worries and sent me some ET lugs.

4.5" BS front, and 5.5" back. I will get some pics of the front tires. I thought they were going to be a little too skinny, but I like them. They look really good on the wheel and truck.

The axle is just resting on the bottom of the frame in the pics. No c-notch. I'm building a backhalf so I can lay frame. I'm running custom brake lines right now so I can't roll it out just yet. I will air it up a little and take it for a spin this weekend after I get the brake lines done. I'm going to temporarly run the shortest stock replacement KYB gas-adjust shocks from CPP front and rear. Stock panhard right now, which will get replaced with a triangulated 4 link.

18/20 stagger looks great. Truck looks awsome. 18/20 is the way I went.

Yea, I converted to 5 lug because of wheel selection and rear disc. Cost about $700 for the front and $350 for the rear to convert. That is all new parts except rear calipers and getting the axles redrilled to 5x5.
