Coolest shop couch ever(to me)
Hey guys! New here but I've been messing with these trucks since 1996 and remember wanting one when I was a kid going to truck pulls with my dad. Anyways, here's my shop couch that was made out of the bed that came off the truck I redid. And yes, the lights DO work!
And in case you're wondering, three adults can and do sit on it with no problem.

Re: Coolest shop couch ever(to me)
That is alsmost identical to what I had in mind...except mine would be cushioned and not attached to the wall.

Re: Coolest shop couch ever(to me)
I've got a chaise lounge cushion for it and I attached it to the wall so it could close and be out of the way when I'm not using it.

Re: Coolest shop couch ever(to me)
Thanks, I know it looks kind of ratty, but I wanted to remember how my truck looked before I redid it.
It used to look like this: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4/mjakaa/scan0006.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4/mjakaa/scan0001.jpg Now it looks like this: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4/mjakaa/scan0002.jpg When I revamp the inside of the shop, I'm thinking of dropping off the "couch" at the local vocational school to let them paint it like the finished truck for practice.

Re: Coolest shop couch ever(to me)
Thats awesome --- both for you and the dog.. I can envision a lot of bench racin goin there --- even if its just between you and the dog
Some of the "pretty ones" would look better in my gameroom than in my garage

I'm sure a lot of are saying "why the hell didn't I think of that?". Because as everybody know's, beer always tastes better while your sitting on a tailgate!

Re: Coolest shop couch ever(to me)
Yup, when it's closed it's only about 4 inches thick so it's never in the way.
