Questions about upper/lower trim.
What I've got is a 72 GMC, super custom that originally came with the black lower trim. About 1/2 is missing, the other half I wouldn't want to use after fresh paint. Is there a big difference in aftermarket trim from say LMC? This won't be a show truck. Just a nice daily driver. Also, I'm kind of partial to the woodgrain trim. What would anyone suggest, get new black trim and stay close to original, or go with the woodgrain?

Re: Questions about upper/lower trim.
I've used side trim from several vendors, with all seeming to be ok. I would get the tailight chrome from GM, yes they still make them, repros there didn't fit to well for me. Black or wood gain might depend on the color of the truck, if you want wood grain you can just buy the tape from the vendors that is the right width and put over your old black ones that are still good and save a few bucks.

Re: Questions about upper/lower trim.
I'd need all new trim, upper and lower. There are only a few pieces worth saving. The truck will be orange and white, so either would look good I think.
