Re: Better jump on this one before it's gone!
Nice looking truck. I noticed a handle on the glove box, did any of these come with those? That rear bumper looks out of place, and it's missing a cap on one wheel. They were asking for a $150 processing fee?

Re: Better jump on this one before it's gone!
Takes more than an Earl Sheib paint job to make a 9K truck IMO.Actually the first photo showing the front bumper,it looks like they painted OVER some rust or crud. And whoopee!, they painted the valve cover too! Sorry, not impressed.

Ya, I was studying those pics too. Not as impressed as I would expect. If those guys get $9000 for a base model 250 engine (cause I sure don't see anything special on it), I should get at least $4000 more for all my options (insert sarcasm here)

I'm with Longhorn....a little too much "wake-n-bake" if you ask me.
Long Stepper Red 6/cylinder Cheesy Paint Job Low / No Options Add it all up and it's a 3k-4k truck in my book.

Re: Better jump on this one before it's gone!
Ok...I have a question: Is the paint on that truck really that bad or is it the camera that is making it look that bad? And should there be emblems on the fenders?

Re: Better jump on this one before it's gone!
OMG... I can't believe someone actually put a bid on it. If you guys look closely at the body, it looks pretty rough, esp between the drivers door and front fender.

Re: Better jump on this one before it's gone!
I can't really decide what part of this brush-painted "creampuff" I like best. Could it be the Tiajuana style velour seat cover? The left over Bondo can wheelcovers, or perhaps the JC Whitney sure-grip steering wheel cover. No, it has to be the dual chrome plated "Bubba-pipes" peeking out from under the step bumper. The clincher is that this is a stock 6-cyl. with a stock SINGLE PIPE exhaust manifold. Just what are those duals hooked up to? Hmmm.....

Re: Better jump on this one before it's gone!
Anyone else notice the driver door -fender lineup?----the doors both look like they are 1 inch thick with bondo. There is rust all over behind the rear wheel picture and the dash is hand painted. The tail light lenses look original and junk, not to mention the $19.95 seat cover.
Looks like a $1000.00 truck TOPS!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Better jump on this one before it's gone!
First off...never buy a truck from anyone who has one of those stupid and most likely dangerous steering wheel covers on the wheel.
Second, the paint looks fresh alright...too bright and not a great job either. What's up with that oil can hub cover on the back wheel and those weird wings on the bed rails?

Hey! Don't hate on the $29.99 seat cover purchased at Oreilly's! It got me through 3 months until I put my electric lumbar Bench seats from a 1995 C1500

Re: Better jump on this one before it's gone!
Might not be a bad truck to get (way cheaper) and redo right. But,I wouldn`t count on that having much work done right under what we can see wasn`t done right.I think it`s a neat truck.
The glovebox door handle was available to those owners to dumb to figure out how to adjust the striker so the door would 'pop" when the button is pushed. Love those hubcaps? They make stock lug nuts look beautiful. Why would the guy put the wider wheels on the front?Someone is clueless. Gotta believe that mileage, huh? Looks like someone`s backyard resto pride`n`joy and everyone elses "Eh,it`s alright" that a bag`o`hot air dealer gpt ahold up and threw on Ebay."This is the most reliable ...".Really,how far and long have you been running it? And,some guy is considering having it shiped to San Diego?Gotta loe that Ebay! I hate putting down trucks,it`s not their fault.

Bad paint and there were emblems (like all trucks).
