Let me introduce myself....
Hello fellow car addicts,
Let me introduce myself to you all. My name is Johan Slotboom, I live in Spijkenisse, the Netherlands. I am (almost) 39 years old, married to Caroline and father of two kids: Danny (6,5) and Isa (2,5). Since 29 March 2008 I am the proud owner of a Chevy Suburban C20 Scottsdale 454 Trailering Special from 1978. As a former Ford owner I am exploring the world of Chevy. nu2-72: I did all tunnel cruises in my Ford Exporer '93, with open exhausts But with the Suburban it will probably be lots more fun and a lot more noise!!! I removed the cat and replaced it with a cherrybomb.....  Jo

Nice to see Big Iron in the Netherlands - you must be well known in your neighborhood. Nice of you to support the Gov't with all the taxes on fuel.
Some Americans are complaining... with the inflation adjusted the price is really quite normal at around $3.50 / gal. Folks think it was cheap when 35 cents / gal, but most else was 10 times less, too! I lived in Verdun France for a while as a kid. My Father was U.S. Army.
