Power steering hose question
Is the power steering gear box port different for the 68 /69 and the 71/72?
I have a 68 frame with a Pwr gear box and the new braided line is suppose to fit a 72. But seems to be different on the gear box. Looks similar but must be a different animal. Any in sight?

Re: Power steering hose question
I hooked a 70 pump up[ with my 72 box - the new hoses I picked up (72) came with a brass fitting - 1 mpt end and what I remember being a flare end - that screwed into the pump and the hose went on.

Re: Power steering hose question
Thanks for the reply. my problem isn't on the pump side that connection I'm good. It is on the gear box pressure side. Not sure without pulling inner fender well what the problem is on my line.

Re: Power steering hose question
I absoutely can't remember the size, but I called summit racing and there
were 2 sizes, I got both. I think they were like 11/16 and 3/4. Anyways I can go measure it tommorrow if need be. Any way here is a picture off of my 1971 with braided hose hook up.

Re: Power steering hose question
I ordered a new presure line from GMC pauls see if this solves it. It appears the inside diameter of the tubing/ or threaded connector is slighty incorrect. I will post follow up if this solves it. Thanks for replys.
