Maximum towing weight c10 suburban
I am getting my suburban in shape to have him road tested and get a licence and plates for it. I want to install a hitch and have a maximum towing weight on the title, here in Holland that is needed to tow large and heavy trailers.
If i have some real documented proof, the chance to get a high towing weight is much higher. So if someone can help me, please let me know. I have a 71 c10 suburban with a 350 engine Thanks, Arnold

Re: Maximum towing weight c10 suburban
For the maximum trailer weight to be towed by a C-10, an "equalizer" trailer hitch is recommended. 5500 lbs. is the maximum with the equalizer hitch. This information is listed in the Suburban Specifications which is part of the sales brochure for your truck.
The information is possibly listed in other references. What source do they need the information from in order to list the weight on your title? Jim
