71 front cross member in a 64. Can I?

I was told I can unbolt the front end(xmember) from a 71 chev and bolt it right in my 64. Now having disc brakes and 5 bolt rotors..Is this true. Just starting so any help would be graetly appreciated

I used a 73 non power setup on my 64. Almost a direct bolt on.
