A new resurrection
Saludos desde Sonora, Mexico!!
6 years have passed since i dropped my dad's truck into my brother shop, since then and little by little we have been learning how to fix things with a lot patience and dedication finally i drove it back to home, still a lot of work to do, mostly adjustments. When i decided to start rebuilding my dad's truck i was single, now married and 2 kids i hope my son's have the opportunity to drive this truck, at least they liked how it is right now!! By the way, i want to put seats from a chevy 1998 but do not know how, i have adapted and used the bench brackets in the driver seat but is still too high. Some one built its own brackets??? |

Re: A new resurrection
Looks good. I have no idea on the seat bracket. How much room under the center seat is there to drop?

Re: A new resurrection
Yeah Welcome. The kid on the left looks just like I did when I was little.
Nice looking truck. I too have a 88-98 seat to install. I am using the bracket that are on the seats and untill I can get some one to make one for me Or I can get a welder and make on my self that is how it will be. I will use washers for spacers. |

Re: A new resurrection
For some reason, I really like the red interior with the green.

It looks like you and your brother did a great job on the truck. Your dad should be proud. LockDoc

Re: A new resurrection
Hey.. i was not expecting so many nice comments, thank you all. Dwaite there is not too much room to drop the center seat, actually in the picture the seat is a floor level. 67Chip72 you are correct, the reason why this shortbed has a center stake pocket is because it was a longbed, me an my brother got it for free from a guy who wanted to clean his backyard, we also got a complete 72 cab with doors..very nice too little rust. My brother did the conversion.
