Its not me,but i got a pm today from a member named jessie and under the user name it says account suspended.user name doesn't have any posts and just joined yesterday.just wondering,as i don't want to be associated with anything that would get me suspended.
Any body else get a strange pm and why me
i enjoy being here

If I recall correctly it takes a little while for the account to be created and set up before they can post. If they have been here for a while and then were suspended they might have tried to open their account under a different username... I would contact a Mod (Liz, Mudder,....) to see what they might be able to tell you.

Account suspension doesn't spread like a disease, if you receive a pm from someone it won't affect your account, unless you post crazy things on the board, or are warned repeatedly about certain activites (such as not being a subscribing member and posted for sale adds or WIW posts)

Jessie might have pulled some member names for certain posts for some reason, and just pm'd you. You guys are just lucky.... go buy a lottery ticket!

Jesse was a spammer. He has been on other forums doing the same thing. That was probly why he was suspended. He PM'd you before someone reported him to us.

Don`t answer any messages from any member marked "Account Suspended".If someone is suspended they should not be having activity involved with this site.PMs are "activity" and it just shows determination of the violator.
You can bet if a member just joined and is suspended it`s a SPAMMER!I`m surprised a suspended account can still send pms.

the funniest part of this all is not one person in this thread that says they got a spam pm reported it. If someone spams you in PM or on the site at all, we need to know

Just so you understand, the PM's were sent "before" the account was suspended. After an account is suspended they can no longer send PM's.

Another thing is never click on somethng in a pm or thread that you question whom it has come from. If you don't know the person for sure do not click on any links.
