Major Improvement.
Just got done putting a Box on my '67/71 4x4, wasn't too bad of a job and makes one hell of a difference in looks.
Before: After: My apologies for the dark photos, but I didn't get home till 9:30. The bed is in great shape except for a sideswipe dent on the passenger's side, It did look a lot worse before my uncle and I worked it out a bit, the dent was deep enough that it hit the inner bed wall... but I can't complain for the price of free. Now all I need is a Tailgate. tomorrow I'm gonna go back and get all I need off of the Donor truck, a base model '71 C/10 292/4spd (runs) w/manual disks and manual steering, perfect doors, hood and fenders. The cab is rusted out pretty bad though (I can hear the Easterners screaming now...). |
