Post ur plans for your truck and see what everyone thinks!!

My 69 C20. Her name is Hillbilly Deluxe. I want this truck to be different then most others. It's a 2wd. I want to lift it. Everyone else Bags em. I have HID headlight conversions. never seen em on any other classic. I have a few LED's through out the cab. I have the clear tail lights with custom red LED's. i want to get the Clear side markers with colored LED's. I also have a Viper alarm that offers keyless entry and pages me when my alarm goes off. I have a full stereo with about 1300 invested. Full ipod hook up. and plans to put suicide doors on it with the one piece power window conversion in it. i want bucket seats with a custom center console. and to sum it all up i am going to black out all the windows except the windshield and paint the truck Candy Blue. what do you think and what are all of your guy's plans??

when i first got the truck and had already started sanding down the racial slurs

Fresh coat of primer to cover up the temporary black

a little more body work and a bunch of new upgrades.

The fresh small block i just built for her.

at the car wash. this was when i had the Platinum white halogen head lights.

and now i have the HID head lights. 10,000K. Its like day light when i drive

Re: Post ur plans for your truck and see what everyone thinks!!

My '70 is currently in pieces. It will be painted a stock color from 70-72, probably the dark blue with a white top. I already have a 3.5/5 drop kit and disc break conversion from ECE and 15x8 truck ralleys. It currently has 2 1/4" dual exhaust which will eventually get changed to 2 1/2" with headers. It will also get a posi in about a year and mild cam. You can see the progress in my build thread (link in my signature).

well, for my old girl, "Sweet Revenge", I'm going flat black. I'd eventually like to put 4 wheel discs, once I find everything to do it with ( junkyard rebuild) I wanna shave the door handles and give her a good tint. I wanna lower her a little, but nothig that would affect hauling/towing too much. upgrade the wiring and get new bumpers ( the ones from LMC with the fog lights (front) and the integrated backup light(rear) thats about it really. maybe use some of the old panels I have to experiment with some rattle can flames or something.

exactly. right now she's got a straight 6, but when I get the money, Ive got a 4 bolt main 350 that'll be bored and stroked. she'll end up around 9 to 1 compression ( I gotta be able to use the cheap octane), something like a comp magnum cam with a little bit of rumble, but nothing too overboard. I plan on using mostly Edelbrock RPM parts, so if I do it right, I should get around 300 horse.I would like to scrounge up some TPI components from a camaro to use, but I'll probably just go with a quadrajet ( If I can find an RPM manifold with the spreadbore pattern). I also plan on swapping the 3 speed out for a 5 speed or a 6 if I can find one cheap enough.

I have looked at the brothers catalog, but haven't seen the bumpers taht I saw on LMC.

That sounds nice. it'll be fun to drive. haha. I have my 350 four bolt main with mainly Edelbrock Performer parts. I just put a new turbo 350 trans with a high stall torque converter. B&M street/strip shift kit and a B&M slap shifter. its definitely fun to drive. but i still wish i had the money for a 700R4 because of the overdrive

ok, point taken... cheapER octane...

sad as it may sound, I relly don't believe taht I'll ever be able to have an honest to god muscle car (or truck) again, because of gas prices. pumping 93 octane would require me to take out a mortgage, but since I don't drive my truck all that often anymore ( I got Super Neon for back and forth to work...) I can probably afford running regular once every couple of weeks, at least for another couple of weeks tioll the prices go up ... yet again.

I think me and the old truck have a good thing going,i buy the parts and she tries her best to break them. If all goes well, she will be torn down and rebuilt,in about two years.

What headlight conversion did you use to put the HID's in. I just got 10000K HID's off Ebay for mine and am looking for a good conversion that doesn't cause too much glare. Any pictures of the bulbs during the day and maybe what the road looks like lit up at night? Thanks!

Nah it's pretty easy. I first changed from the Sealed beams. to the halogens. and i burnt them out. so i bout HID's. the normal kits are just plug and play. i opted for the better kit and got the High and low beam. those are a little more wiring. you have to install ballasts and keep all your wires hidden but other then that its real easy. I was gonna get the 12,000. which are purple, i thought they would look cool.

Well for Tinker, I want it to look like this but I doubt I ever do it to this truck

As for my 77, I think its gonna be either a street strip truck or a road race style truck

Sano is a secret

Sinister is prolly destined to be a dually with a diesel & a NV-4500, for a hauler

I like project Sinister. Those seats are nice for a bench. what are they out of and are they real hard to bolt up? also thats a pretty sweet throttle bracket.

You talking bout the gray bench seat ???

Its out of a 98 crew cab truck, its the one out of the rear I think the front is the same), it wasnt hard to put in, just gotta bolt it in in the front & drill holes for the back
