New headers
I just put on a set of flowtech headers on my 68. is there some kind of coating that has to burn off? it just smells like its burning something. they are the flat black headers.

most likely, they were proably just painted. Unless you bought some with a ceramic coating. Look forward to rust in the near future, thats just what they do.
