WIW MY 4x4 72?
As i am about to finish my truck up ( tires and interior) i have started to think it would be nice to start on the 67 for a change.lol.Now i am pondering about selling the 4x4 and maybe either trading or selling and getting something better on gas or even maybe i nice bike to ride.I post this here because most of you know the truck almost as good as i do.It is because of some of you it is as nice as it is ( THANX AGAIN ) It is rust free and has the orange paint that isn't as good as i had hoped it would turn out but not bad for my first try at it.Still not for certain if i will sell or trade but trying to get an idea if i find myself looking for something better on gas(and maybe even a little more leg room....lol ) thanx guys and gals.

Re: WIW MY 4x4 72?
Sorry, I'm not familiar with the build. Funny but mine's about the same color, but needs some work. Mine's a1/2 ton 350 4 speed NP208. Somebody swapped a few parts at some point.
You might try posting some finished pics for a better idea. Sorry you need to get rid of it. Mine sure has some personality compared to my 2004 4x4! |

some of the specs on it are a 350 goodwrench with about 65k miles on it and a rebuilt tranny(built by the owner of this great board, thanx Josh!!) no rust left in it.over all it is a nice driver,i done the paint and it was my first so it isnt a show winner...lol.but is a nice 50fter.anything else i can think of i will post it.and if it ever quits raining i will drive it ourside for some newer pics.thanx anyone.

Re: WIW MY 4x4 72?
Well, that looks like the same color orange as mine almost.
So, just for that, you could get $20k EASY! OK, I'm seriously thinking $7,500 for what I see those trucks going for regularly around here. Basing that on three things. 1. Rust free - fresh paint. 2. Fresh engine/tranny. 3. 4WD. The factory A/C and other options it may have don't hurt, and depending on the extent you took the "restore" I'd honestly think you could price it that high. You may be more in the $5,000 ballpark, but I would say up to the $7,500 from what I can tell. BUT - I am no expert, LIKE a lot of the guys on here (honestly) are. DLB |

just bad timing for me right now. or I'd be looking at it.. My folks are not too far from you, and I would love to have something like that... maybe in about 6 months, when I sell my van and get the daugher off to college, I can afford it..

Post some good quality pics in this thread. Easier to evaluate seeing the finished, and clear pics.
