Remove odometer wheel, remove plastic retainer, then starting from the left set each number to nine and turn wheel one more time to 000000

Just a question how do you polish the lens? What do you use? Would appreciate some advise.

Re: Tach dash rebuilt like new
Meguiars and Mothers both make a plastic polish and the speed ball works pretty good (just don't polish the side of the lens with the numbers)

Re: Tach dash rebuilt like new
Would this fit in place of any stock dash. Mine is set up where the blinkers and generator light are in where the tach sits. It has an aftermarket tach set up on the column already, I believe its a sun tach, would the wiring for that work for the tach in the restored dash. Im thinking everything should just connect right up, or is it not that easy ? Would love to have that and get rid of all the other after market gauges. Thanks

Kev...do you sell the tach by it's self with wiring harness? I have a really solid dash in my truck just need the factory tach itself. If so how much with shipping? PM me if you would.

Re: Tach dash rebuilt like new
You would also need the inner tins, the printed circuit and also the lens. You would be better off buying the one I haveand selling yours.

Re: Tach dash rebuilt like new
Super nice work. At the end of the summer I would like you to rework my dash. How long would you need to have it?
Thanks, Dan |
