Re: leather and tweed 72 chevy pickup seat

How no one has responded and at least said that this is a gorgeous seat and wished you well with the sale is beyond me. So.. here I am. Nice seat, wish I had the funds (and color scheme). Good luck on your sale.

Pretty sweet idea. It's too bad it's not black or tan leather...

damn wish i was wont to get rid of it just taking up space. It is a very nice seat though put a cage a twin turbo engine in the truck so i went to recaro buckets. The bench looked better in the truck.

Any way to ship it? If so, give me your best total with shipping to Mankato, MN 56001.

And if not, here's a bump for ya at least.

Don't know how the seats are constructed -- would the back come off so it could be shipped in two boxes to avoid freight? Probably would still cost a fortune....

Re: leather and tweed 72 chevy pickup seat

Yeah, it is too bad, it is a nice seat. If it happens that you wind up still looking to sell the thing in May, I am making a trip texas to socal to montana and back to texas again, might be able to transport for you.

Re: leather and tweed 72 chevy pickup seat

That a smoking deal on a beautiful seat. You are right that it alot less than doing one yourself. Try Greyhound Freight...they always surprise me with how little they charge. If you just pull the top and place it on the bottom...then get some cheap shrink wrap from Office Depot and wrap it up. I would be surprised if it was more than $80-$100 to ship it from bus terminal to bus terminal. They were going to send a package that was 20x20x48 that weighed 120 lb. from Seattle to New London, CT for $85! CA to MN should be much cheaper.
