Angry Problem: 4 low does not work, 4 high does. Help!

Just went around the block in 4WD. When I put it in 4 low the front wheels do not work. When I put it in 4 high they work great. I tried 4 low a week or so ago and it worked fine. Is this a problem with my transfer case? Linkage? Any clues would be helpful.

Check under the truck and make sure that both t-case shift rails are going all the way back into the case when you push the lever forward into the 4 low position. The rails will have a positive detent when they are all the way back.

What is it doing, just sitting there like it is in nuetral or remaining in high? Do you have a body lift? Did you try to put it in low range and backup up and stop a couple of times?

It is not remaining in high. It is 2WD. No lift. I did not try going forward reverse or reverse a couple of times though. What will this do?
