Whats the best valves for air ride suspension?

Looking for best valves for air ride suspension. Im gonna be using 1/2" and 4 of them.

i used gc extreme valves and havent had any problems yet, im sure theres better and worse out there but these work for me

Unless you are just doing the front or back, you are going to need more than 4. What are you trying to accomplish? Are you looking for speed or do you want something you can control and make fine adjustments?

1/2 valves are wicked fast (too fast for a usable application without modulation).

3/8 max, 6 valves minimum, 8 is best. Use the Ride Tech valve block and save yourself the trouble.

I've heard some of the blocks need to have o-rings maintained often. I have heard good things @ smc valves. I'm planning 3/8 valves and 1/2" or 3/8" line...haven't decided 100%. Basically for about 40 bucks more for the 2 valves (6 vs 8) and about $10 more for a switch box would give you adjustment on all four bags individually, front and rear together, and whole truck dump and raise. I don't need all that, but for $50 extra, it makes sense in case i ever haul anything unbalanced or want to have a little fun at the local cruise in.

http://www.accuaircs.com/ sells a real nice valve. I am probably going to switch out my 1/2" valves to these.

Any valve will require some maintenance due to wear and tear. I don't know that the manifold has anything to do with it.

I will warn you now (as I wished someone would have warned me) that 1/2" is too big. Some say 3/8 is even too fast more often than not. I ran all 1/2 for ease of design and install, but later had to run adjusters on everything because it was way too fast.

To give you an idea, I could only set ride height on fill because dump was to the ground as soon as you touch the switch. If I was running 150psi, even lift was too fast to have anything but full.

I agree 1/2 line a valves are to fast, and friend of mine has a 64 Impala all 1/2 line that thing hops up and dumps down fast but you can't do anything else. On my 96 Impala I did 3/8 everything (8 SMC valves from sucide doors.com) I like it alllooootttt I can fine tune it a bit if I need to and is plenty fast for me if the tank is around 175psi........
On my 72 I am plan on trying 3/8 line with 1/2 valves Which everyone says it keeps the same line I.D. or I may even do 1/2 lift and 3/8 dump.

Has anyone thought of running 12 valves? My accu air system runs on 12 valves, 4 - 1/2" fills, 4 - 1/2" dumps, and 4 - 1/8" dumps. You could play with your system and also fine tune it....I have since switched mine to my lift valves in the front having 1/2" valve with 1/4" line. It works great, but I'm going to switch all my valves out to the new accu air ones.

instead of 12 valves just use slam specialties stealth valves. they should do exactly what your talking about.
