Re: Spray on chrome anybody ???<<<<
I watched one of those hot rod TV programs cant remember witch one but they built a early 60's cadillac for Billy Gibbons (ZZ Topp) they did the whole roof in some sort of 2 or 3 stage paint that looked like real chrome.
Kinda neat but im sure it would chip just like any other paint. EDIT: found a pic Last edited by original_balzer; 06-08-2008 at 03:45 PM. |

Re: Spray on chrome anybody ???<<<<
I saw them spray on chrome on
PIMP MY RIDE. It wasn't paint though, it was sprayed on , but kinda reminded me of spraying a water hose. It looked really good when they got done with it. I have seen the stuff your talking about but don't have the first clue about it or where to get it.

Re: Spray on chrome anybody ???<<<<
I haven't seen any that is worth the money, the stuff I used once came off when you rubbed it or wiped it with a rag.
I agree with the above, save the money and go to a chrome shop.
