3rd Place

Street Magazine (A German Magazine) had a 3 day show not too far from here from Friday til Sunday.
I drove there yesterday and decided to enter mine in the "Best of 60īs (Original)" part of the contest. Later we drove back home.
This morning I had a wierd feeling that I should go back and see who wins all the trophys.
As soon as we got there my friend said he could have sworn that they called my name. I said I would check later.
After a while I went up and asked the guy how my truck did, he checked the list and told me to go get my truck over there as quick as possible.
I drove up there and he told me I won 3rd place.

The first picture was yesterday when they checked the truck out and the second is from when I got her back to the shop.

Re: 3rd Place

I know what you mean. I took my 72 to the Brothers truck show last year. There must have been 4-500 trucks there, and I was shocked to win the daily driver trophy. The staff and magazine editors at Classic Trucks magazine really liked my ride. I was stoked, and am going back again this year! You have a very nice truck there too!

Re: 3rd Place

Thanks again!
money, time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears.
All of the above. Blood and tears came at just about the same time. I slipped trying to get the Caps off the A-Arms. I thought I busted my hand but I just ripped off a little skin. Other than that I was careful.

I finally got my Pictures up. Check them out Here

Congrats on your 3rd place win. You have a fine looking truck. You know, if we were the judges - you would have won 1st place.

Re: 3rd Place

I followed your build when you were here in the States buying it, then shipping it and after it arrived in Deutchland....the disassembly and restoration.

Nice job. Congratulations!!

Thanks for keeping an eye on it so long. Iīm wondering how many people were checking it when I was restoring it.
One of these days I will get to updating it with all the crap I went through last year. That will be page 9.
