Cut coils in the REAR? Unless the suspension was changed, you should have leaf springs back there.

Nice looking truck though!

Re: new member/ new truck

Yeah as far as I know all thas been done is lowered after market exhaust and paint job which is 3 years old.
Also does anyone know what exactly those hoses on the left of the engine are for? I kinda want to get rid of as much of those as I can to clean it up.

Those are heater hoses. I have a feeling you're gonna need them.

I thought duals and cherry bombs were the stock exhaust on these trucks!

You can do a heckuva job cleaning that engine bay, hoses and all. It looks to be in decent shape. Try some brushes, soap, steel wool and elbow grease. You'll be surprised how good it can look. All it really costs is time.

Welcome to the board and congrats on your find!

Re: new member/ new truck

another question, the guy I bought the truck from told me that it takes a long time to warm up when the air filter that is on it is on, I was wondering is this because that the air filter is too big, dirty or other reasons?

the factory air cleaner assembly had a heat riser coming off the exhaust to help warm the engine up. your new air cleaner only takes in that cold B.C. air when it first starts
