Got my Fleet Tailgate!
Wohoo! My fleet gate came in today!
Got it from HartRod. Thanks bud There was a couple spots on it that appeared to be shipping damage but overall it's just as Rob said it was. It is COMPLETELY rust free. There are no dents on the outside skin. The top has a very slight bow (which I knew about) but it's only noticable when you look straight down the gate. This thing weighs double what the repo's I looked at Carlisle weighed. Now I need to finish up getting hitched (end of Sep.) and buy our first home so I can get to work on my new (to me) fleet bed and parts With gas prices being retarded... I may be going for a frame off on the old girl... stay tuned....

Re: Got my Fleet Tailgate!
Wedding planning is going well, 95% done. It was a "package deal" from one of those outdoor places (beautiful old horse farm) that's well established. They do most everything for you, or just have "packages" you chose from for how you want to set it up. We booked the date like 8 months ago and there was only one weekend left for the entire fall, funny thing is, it's the day after our 5 year dating anniversary
Anyway, we basically had a list of vendors to choose from and we've contacted all of them and picked out the food, cake, music, a good friend of mine will be the minister, she has her dress, really all that's left is sending out invitations. Jena had a month off before she started her new job to take care of most everything. As far as the frame off... that's still a loooooooong ways off. I'll be able to get the bed near 100% completion before I ever touch the truck Who knows, she might be a hybrid electric truck by then... anything to keep this hobby alive....
