Original Interior Colors?
I know this isn't like from the factory original interior but is this color scheme true to the era? don't think it is but I wanted some expert opinions..Tim (Special-K) I expect you to reply first if you're not TOO buzzed haha.

I dont think the black would have been there. I could be wrong though.

Re: Original Interior Colors?
It`s true to the era. They had simular colors. Not factory, though. That`s in between Sandlewood(lighter) and saddle (darker). If it bugs you and you want an exact factory color yopu can just die over it.I`d leave it be.It looks good.
Is that a rare horn button delete? BTW,I just managed a 3 beer buzz. But,it was German so...

Re: Original Interior Colors?
Looks good. I would even try to change it.

Re: Original Interior Colors?
Tim and Caminokid,
Thanks guys. I do like the colors and I bet ya somebody tried to come close to doing it in a factory fashion so yeah I'm just going to leave it. I was just curious as to whether or not it was even close. So what do ya say about a paint job? what do you think would compliment the interior? I was thinking glossy black but we'll see... as i've said before want to make the plans then save the money haha that way i can get exactly what I want down pat before I actually go spend the money for it haha

Re: Original Interior Colors?
I'd have to say that it has an interior that looks that good, I'd leave it and spend money on other things (if it needs it).

Re: Original Interior Colors?
viewing how beautiful your interior is, really makes me wanna go 2 tone on mine. I wouldn't change too much on yours, looks absolutely gorgeous.

Re: Original Interior Colors?
thanks man...yeah i'm going to keep it the way it is I was just curious if it was even close to original and I got my answer that yes it's close but not it's not exact because the tan is not dark enough to be one color and not light enough to be the other. So how i'm looking at it is i suppose that's a good compromise huh? Now I gotta first thing drop a radio and those speakers we've been talking about in and i'll be set. well at least to make it liveable...the guy i'm buying it off drives it every day to and from work right now and drives it without a radio...i've done that before and don't ever want to again.
