Tool box question

I was looking at the spid label on my truck and one of the listed options is a tool and storage box. As I didnt receive one with the truck, what would that have been? Thanks in advance.

Re: Tool box question

hummmm. if it's on the spid, I would have thought it was the passenger side, lower bed box. maybe the bedside was replaced at some time?

either way, she's a nice looking Cheyenne!

Thats kind of what I was thinking. Another strange thing is that it also is supposed to have an aux. gas tank, but I cant find any evidence of one being under the bed anywhere. And thanks for the kind comment towards my truck.

Re: Tool box question

play Devil's advocate,

is the spid/glove box door original to the truck? and does the vin number match the truck's vin?

is the truck originally from WV? she looks well preserved!

the glove box door and label are original and matching vin's. The truck is originally from the lower part of Tennessee. Just brought it up a few weeks ago.

Re: Tool box question

my bet is the box has been changed, as the aux tank would be on the drivers side, and the toolbox on the passanger.. heres a pic where you can see one of the toolboxes if you havent

Re: Tool box question

Nice truck!
Truck looks like it was nicely restored.A lot of people would have replced the bedside and removed the tank. Many of the doors are rusted out after this long.
