Cheap wheels to get by.

Will later model OEM wheels fit. I have a 1970 steper six lug, w/drums. What years should I look for? I know the problem is the center hub size.

Re: Cheap wheels to get by.

Most of the later model wheeel (88 and up) have a problem with the hub hole being too small. Another Issue is the back spacing on the wheels. There is a lot more on the newer wheels and to some they look awkward on our trucks, and they may create clearance issues.

Best thing is you can is try them and see what YOU think on looks, that is if they fit/clear everything else.

Look for '73-'87 4x4 truck wheels. They will be 6 lug and have the right offset. I think you can even look at Ford wheels since most full size 4x4's during that era had the same 6 lug pattern.

Yea, I knew that, just wasn't 100% if they had the right offset.
