Help! Bear Claw Latches 55/2 - 59

Somewhere on here I saw a great post about installing bear claw latches. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks much.

Don't know how great it is but here is the material I put together for installing them on an Advance Design model. Some of this may help you out. You might check the Jalopyjournal site also as I recall coming across another installation there. Good luck.

I will be doing this mod to the 58 in the future so take some notes and pics of your installation as it may be useful later.

Re: Help! Bear Claw Latches 55/2 - 59

Thanks both of you, the information is great. However I guess I should have been a little more specific............there was a post of a guy on here that mounted the latch on the cab and the post on the door. It made for a very clean install and this is the direction I want to go. I know it is just a matter of reversing the pieces, but, was hoping to see his/her article in case there are some hidden challenges that is presented with that configuration. Thanks again.

Houston54, I will shoot you a PM in reference to your question(s).
