We have paint
They got done painting the exterior (minus the top). It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. These pictures don't really do it justice, but you get the idea. Can't wait to see it in the sun!

Re: We have paint
That's going to be amazing out in the sun.
Second pic looks to have a little pearl in it. Is there a little pearl in the flame tips?

Re: We have paint
There will be a blown BB in it as soon as I get it back home. I'm hoping to get good pics of the whole side next week when we take it outside. The paint booth was a little tight to take pics in. They take it back apart next week so I can have the frame powder coated and switch out the axles (the original frame was totally tweaked so I had to start over with a new one).
The flames have some charcoal shading around them and then blue pearl accents on top - it's actually got some depth to it. I hope I can get some better pics cause the shading this guy did is awesome. Things progress so much quicker when someone else does the work. So hopefully I can get my stuff together and finish the rest. Rather than staring at a really pretty body and motor. |

Re: We have paint
Looks fantastic !!!!!!
Question, what are your plans to keep rock spray from chewing up that beautiful paint? I saw some clear plastic type stuff you can put on to keep rock chips at bay. I'm not sure who makes it, or if anyone has tried it.
