will newer chevy van front suspention work on our trucks?
I have a line on a VERY clean 95 chevy van its a cargo van with a 350 and 4l60e trans. It belonged to an older gent who did electrical and locksmith work and only has 78K miles on it.
I can get it cheap enough I will buy it either way. But if I can I would swap everything to my 67. Disk brakes a-arms rear axle engine trans computer and anything else I can use. |

A 95 will not work.Up to 87 I believe will fit.You can use the whole front crossmember and the power steering box.
BTW There are lots of posts and good info on what will work with what and which parts can be interchanged in the FAQ's section.

Re: will newer chevy van front suspention work on our trucks?
1995 would have worked but since the old codger won’t let it go it doesn’t matter now. 1970 – 1996 (early 1996) full size unibody vans have common front suspension with 67-87. The 1996 and later G-vans with the full frame are a different animal. Even the stripped P-chassis (Chevrolet/GMC/Workhorse) right up to 2005 had common front suspension with the 67-87 trucks as well.
