I think he means since it's a stepside, not a SWB.

Re: $800 SWB 71 in Oklahoma!!
Oh boy, here we go!!! Let's just say for arguement's sake SWB meant Short Wide Bed. What would be the correct abbreviation for a Short Wheel Base stepside truck?
SNB - Short Narrow Bed SSB - Short Step Bed SNWB- Short Not Wide Bed SLB - Short Little Bed SHATCB- Short Has Annoying Tailgate Chains Bed SMGDFB- Short Makes Good Dually Fenders Bed SNWAMAASWB- Short Not Worth As Much As A Short Wide Bed ***Running from the stepside fans!***

Isn't the '63 a members truck? It seems like I remember seeing that truck in the "post your ride" thread.

Re: $800 SWB 71 in Oklahoma!!
Sorry if I offended anyone with thin skin. "S" implies short either way, ergo short wheel base "W" for wide "N" for narrow "L" for long "B" for bed.

Re: $800 SWB 71 in Oklahoma!!
Go ask your local GM dealer what SWB means in his parts book. I'm betting it wont have anything to do with the width of the bed
Let us know his response |
