Talking Springfield, Ohio Swap meet update

3 hours from Ky, but it was fun with interesting stuff. Bought new front bumper guards ($15). Bought a brand new spare tire mount for inside a fleetside bed ($5.) and a few other misc. junky things. Meet up with Rob Pierce and Jamie & his love muffin. The weather was cool and windy but it was still fun. Lots of people but only one 67-72 truck vender and he showed up around 10:30 to start setting up!! What a opportunity for someone to make inroads into this part of Ohio~~~. Anyway, a good time was had---saw some ratty trucks and a couple of nice ones. always surprized how people can bring in a rusted hulk and put a $1500-2,000. price on it like it's gold!!! Oh well---got to get off line now as we have hail and tornado stuff around us------down to the basement with the critters and the women---(hey, maybe I have an idea so this wouldn't be a total waste~~~~~)~~~~-Huck

Sorry I didn't meet you guys, we left around 1:30 and went to Jegs. I thought the show and swap meet was a little slow maybe the weather and this late in the year. Got a steerin' wheel and a pr. of new ralley wheel centers and saw a few things on other trucks that I liked. So that does the swap circuit this year for me. Start next year at Charlotte can't wait!!!!!!

Yea WEasel, it was a little slow---the weather and late in the year i guess. Still, better then staying home and doing honey do's. Jamie, the last I saw of you, you were looking for an ATM so you'd have gas money!! Tried calling you on the cell but you probably forgot that in the truck. Hope is all OK at the truck farm as that storm looked like it was heading your way. Let me know~~~Huck

That storm came through here and I gotta say it was nasty. I haven't seen trees stay bent over like that since 99 when i was in a hurricane in Korea.
Which Jeggs did you go to weasel29gm? If it was the one on W. Broad street and 270 on the lower west side, then you were about 5 miles from my place. Had Neon Larry over here today too.
Huck, why are you so supprised at what junkers bring in up here? You saw my GMC turd and like I told you...ppl will stop me in traffic and ask me to sell it to them.

Andy, the next time someone is trying to buy your GMC, take the ear plugs out so that you hear the rest of the offer. You are only getting the first part---
"Hey Buddy, what'll it take to buy that piece of @#$%^*" PART ONE
"so the road will be a safer place!!!"(PART TWO)
I know because they say that to me all the time when I have the Jimmy out of the barn!! Open headers tend to do that to people!

LOL!
I just can't part with it right now...not till the one ton is up. Once it is running, the GMC will be gone in a heart beat.
