picked up 67 SWB... Is this what they call patina?

Pretty straight and nearly rust free little truck. I am a 72 person myself but I could not pass this one up.

Yep, that there is patinafication!

Looks look someone advanced the patinacation on the driver's side fender. That is solid little truck though. Great score!

That's a cool little '67 - I love the patina - man, to last 41 years with that little rust - it must have lived somewhere that it doesn't rain much at all.

Cool. Where did you find it? I think when I'm ready for another truck some day, I want a 67 short bed, either fleet or step. I consider myself a 72 lover too, but the 67's keep calling me. Love that spare side fender.

Any chance you would like to part with it? You appear to be in the buildings near Hills Hot Rods?

Tim.. I like those rims too. It did not take my uncle long to notice them. He wants them too, but I think they need to stay with the truck. Not many other options, maybe 1 or 2, I cant remember.

Re: picked up 67 SWB... Is this what they call patina?

OOPS , bought another one. This one does not have patina, but is nearly as straight and not too much rust. Pics are from a camera, so not good. you can see both trucks in a couple of the pics.

These truck are absolutely identicle except the first one has bigger wheels and the spare cut out. What are the ODDS!!!!

Re: picked up 67 SWB... Is this what they call patina?

The "patina" on your first truck reminded me of something... my 67 had original white paint on it too when I bought it, and the entire cab had brown primer and the bed and clip had black. Wonder why that was?

Great double score. Care to send one my way?
