One of the greatest country songs EVER and one of the most played songs on my Ipod. Modern "pop country" can't hold a candle to these 4 greats.

P.S. Bit of trivia for ya ... Glenn Campbell recorded this before the "good" version came out.

Couldn't agree more. I'd like to hear their take on the "new country" today. I just can't stomach the stuff. Give me some Highwaymen, some DAC, some Hank....give me some COUNTRY!

...or some old southern rock, so as not to upset the Skynyrd thread!
