283 bolt to a T350?
The three-speed I have was originally bolted to the 230 straight six.
The ‘283’ I’m about to get rebuilt is from 64’ to 67’, according to the block numbers, according to a friend that has a catalog. Does anybody know if there’s anything complicated about bolting the trans up to this SBC? I can deal with the motor mount issues easy enough - if the stack-up length from the drive shaft is an issue, just don’t want any surprises when the motor and tranny come back from the rebuild.

Re: 283 bolt to a T350?
My last C10 was a 283/th350 combo. according to the previouse owner it was not an issue. The 283 was later pulled to install a stroked sb400 with a mild cam. Good luck!
btw, surf city, CA in No or So Cal?

Re: 283 bolt to a T350?
Thanks Guys - that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm going to be about $3,000 into this getting my truck back on the road after being stolen and I wand to keep the surpises to a minimum.
