chop top
hey has anyone ever choped a top yourself? if so, what kind of a process is it? thanks.

4" chop top....http://community.webshots.com/user/hotrodhorn get yourself a copy of How To Chop Tops, written by Tex Smith. there is a lot of info, as well as several methods on chopping the 67-72, cutting glass, garnish mold ect. I am NOT a body man, just a backyard "buck", that can weld fairly decent, & have a little "tenacity" for what I like. Plan it outwell, start to finish, measure 3 times & cut once. best of luck, crazyL

thanks man, i work in a body shop but its on m1 army tanks so im not used to welding on thin metal. maybe with some good info i can handle it. thanks again.
