Re: Rhd '72 C-10??
Its been posted befor on here the last time it was for sale. Its not a factory built right hand drive thats for sure. The more I look at the pictures of the bed the more it looks like it may have been a long bed that some one cut up to make a short bed.

Re: Rhd '72 C-10??
It's the dash, it just doesn't seem right. neither do the interior proportions. Also the wheel wells in the bed are completely odd. I will admit I would like one of those cowls so that I can make my windshield wipers like those. That would be cool to me.

Re: Rhd '72 C-10??
now that i see that truck again ive noticed that the front fenders have side markers and the bedsides do not have markers
for whoever to put that much time into customizing that truck they didnt pay enough attention to the little details

Re: Rhd '72 C-10??
No mention of winning any trophies with that show truck.
*nice custom door panels *most painters try to match flames side to side *grille doesn`t fit fender on passenger side I wonder why they used that tailgate? Bed does look shortened. I always liked wipers that operated that way. It would be fun to drive. Should have painted it as a USPS truck...Express Mail

Re: Rhd '72 C-10??
a while back there was a guy from south America (or some place like that) and his truck looked just like this one. not the paint and flames but the box, tailgate and no marker light ect. could it be this truck came from out side the u.s.?
i cant find the thread i am thinking about.

Re: Rhd '72 C-10??
^ I agree. It looks out of proportion for some reason. It may be the bed.It just doesn't flow for some reason. Also It looks like the bed and cab are slightly tilted towards each other(lower in the center)but that may be an optical illusion.

Re: Rhd '72 C-10??
Thats a South American truck for sure..Not positive on the RHD? but the bed is the way they did them over there.........Not a bad looking truck....but there are a few things i would clean up .......And the firewall is terrible with holes (not being used) just there......

Re: Rhd '72 C-10??
The south of the border trucks had tailgates with outside chains like pre-67 Fleetsides. But,the beds were no resemblence to 67-72s.They looked more like a mid-60s Ford with a body seam running down the side. The tail lights were more like 60-66 GMs and the wheel openings were more squared.
That thing looks like a bondo bucket.I`m sure it`s a shortened bed.Seems are filled and I see waves.Look at the door bottoms. It`s all filled under the tail lights. The cab is low in the back or bed too high.Actually, the roll in the bed sits too high. The lower body line is aboutmatched up yet the rpper line is high.Behing the wheels the taper is too steep.
