Where is the cheapest place to buy one for our 67-72 trucks?.

I got mine from E-Z Wiring They have a nice setup that is affordable and offers the high-temp wire coating.

Both E-Z and Painless are good sets but make note that E-Z only has labled Black wires and painless are gm color coded and labled.
If colored wires are not important then E-Z or Ron Francis wiring is the way to go.

EZ now has colored wires on their site. Do you know if the connectors are installed already?. I never heard of Ron Francis.

Chevy Duty sells Ron Francis wiring kits, and they adevertise GM color coding.

And since I bought one, I'm hoping that's true. If it'd only get here, I could put it in and get rolling on my motor install.

It's definitely not a plug and play install - there are some connectors included but all the rest of the wires are bare ended - the guys there seem real helpful and can probably better answer your questions. The connectors I know of is the headlight, column and keyswitch. I did like the fact that there is plenty of length on all the harnesses.

I actually purchased the harness that is all black wiring with stamped lables every 6" or so. I think is great - no more hunting down what the dark green with yellow strip wire is....It clearly marked right on wire!

I didn't know E-Z now sells colored wires.

I bought Painless.

The fuse box is wired. End connectors must be assembeled. connectors are provided.

The EZ Wiring kit is complete from headlight, engine to taillight.

I just did a 73 c/j 5 for a customer back 2 weeks ago,it went from headlites to tail lites,but it was not all that painless lol.
But the fact of being labled and color coded was a help.
I was not all that inpressed with the quality of the conecters,but everything worked when I got done,thank GOD.
There was a lot of extra wires in the kit that had to be removed.
Has anyone used the wire kits from LMC?,just wondering cause I have to do the 72.
