Re: Need Ideas.. Let me c your Sub & Amp pics
I can take a pic of my amp since it's no longer in the truck but the sub is still in the truck under the passenger side of the seat. The amp was mounted under the drivers side of the seat and the amp is under the passengers side. The sub is an 8" and it put out plenty of bass. I had plenty of people think it was at least a 10". The amp and sub are both Alpine.
Here is the amp. When the amp was in the truck you could not see it because it was mounted close to the center of the floor under the drivers side and it is not one of those big amps. It still put out plenty of power even though it wasn't large. You could see the sub from the passenger side though but the box was covered in carpet to match the interior. Whenever I finally get the truck fixed up again I'm going to see if I can fit a 10" under the seat because the 8" finally busted after all those years of playing loud rock music. I got a box built to go under the back seat of a 95 chevy extended cab, very low profile, had 10" Rockfords in it. Thinking of trying to get it to fit under my 69 seat

I say go for it. It may touch the bottom of the passenger side of the seat but you don't sit on that side when driving so you won't feel it. I think the girls like the vibrations coming from under the seat anyway.

If you put one under the seat, you need to notch it up over the trans hump to get all of the airspace you want (at least 1 cube per sub, in most cases). Rest the box on the forward seat bracket hump and use a 3/4" spacer in the back; down fire them. I've heard there are some new crazy thin subs. A few years ago, these were the best sounding thin monsters I could find. You may be able to get away without blocking the seat up.
2 Kicker CVR 10's in a sealed, chambered box with 1 cube each. Powered by a Rockfos 701s.

I've got a box that held 2 10's in my ford dually that I think will fit in my C10 once I get the gas tank out. It had to comp vr 10's in it and sounded pretty good. I think I'm going to go that route since my buddy buckets don't hinge anyway to be able to use the space for anything else. Stash the amps under the seats and it should work good.

Here's mine. It's all installed now with a 5 channel SoundStream amp mounted just left of the sub. Just one shallow 10 inch is perfect for me.

Re: Need Ideas.. Let me c your Sub & Amp pics
Pictures of the perment install of the sub enclosure and amp. I bought the grey carpet and covered the front panel. I had to move the amp after I got the passenger seat in because it wouldn't let the seat go back fully. Oh well! Amp is now under the drivers side seat.
400 amp for the 2 subs & 2 3ways under the seat. 100 amp behind glove box for the 2 tweeters & 2 ways in the center of the dash. Brooks & Dunn sound awsome when I crank it up! You can see in this picture that the passenger side seat want go all the way back. I have a 6' son and that just wouldn't do! Ha!!!!! That's him in the background.

Here are some of my setup. I have my highs in the stock dash speaker frame, and used two amps with crossovers and two mids with a one 12 behind the seat.
