is this truck really a 3/4 ton?
i'm acquiring a 78 crew cab with DRW. fender badges indicate "20". are the badges wrong or did chevy make a crew cab DRW 3/4 ton truck?

yeah they did make one but the 3/4 ton didnt have dual rear wheels that is a one ton... ( could have been altered tho)

Might have had a different front clip swapped on, and they didn't switch emblems ? Or they needed replacement emblems and couldn't find 1 ton emblems, since they are kinda rare.

swapped the rear axle then....do you know if it still has the SPID sheet in the glove box? that might say whether or not its stock...i think...lol

Sounds like someone converted it to a dually. Measure the frame and you will know for sure.

no spid sheet on the inside of glove box door. original owners manual and odometer statement were there though but nothing to indicate options. sounds like the drw were added later.
