Sat pics (8-16) Riding the rails.
Just some more shots of us piddlin round with the C10. You guys know how I think that fossil fuels are yummy and I'm always lookin for somewhere else to shoot! I hadn't ever really tried to incorporate the railway in to a shot. I kinda like how they turned out. I hope you like em!
I really like the above shot.... ....but I liked it better like this. Don't you hate it when you go to see the optician for an eye exam and they do this lil line...... Better like this.... Or better like this.... |

Re: Sat pics (8-16) Riding the rails.
You did great work as usual. You really need to get that diner shot at dusk with the neon burning. That would be an awesome shot...

Re: Sat pics (8-16) Riding the rails.
It must be the color of See Ten's truck.

Re: Sat pics (8-16) Riding the rails.
I'd love to get the diner with the neon burning but it's been closed down for some time. There's a for sale sign in the door but there's no telling if the new owner will leave it as is. That's part of why I jumped on getting these couple of pics before the whole building was gone.
I've never had any one try to run me off while I was taking pictures (yet). I did have a security guard tell me that I couldn't take pictures in the parking lot of Opry Mills once. The only reason I was taking pictures in their lot was to prove that I actually leave my 4x4 parked out in the lot while we were shopping. |

Re: Sat pics (8-16) Riding the rails.
An idea on the diner window would be to shoot a reflection of the truck in the window. You would have to get it at just the right time for the best reflection.

Re: Sat pics (8-16) Riding the rails.
Is all you got to do on a Sat is ride around and take pictures of your truck????
I am just jealous I don't have anything that looks that good. Some mag needs to get you on their payroll Later Last edited by jkade; 08-18-2008 at 07:03 PM. |
