Help With Wires Under Hood
the black wire that goes down the back side of motor on the passger side it is just a ground wire right

Where does it go to and come from? I can't think of any black wires...let alone in that location. All teh grounds should be braided steel straps...no actual wires.
The only Wire I can think of back there would be the purple wire going to the starter...or maybe the yellow one, also to the starter. |

Does the truck have AC? I think a green wire is used for that and there would also be a seperate black wire too.

Are all of your gages working? I have a black wire running to my oil pressure sensor. The only other black wire I have is the one going to my elec. choke.
