the black wire that goes down the back side of motor on the passger side it is just a ground wire right

Where does it go to and come from? I can't think of any black wires...let alone in that location. All teh grounds should be braided steel straps...no actual wires.
The only Wire I can think of back there would be the purple wire going to the starter...or maybe the yellow one, also to the starter.

it is with the green one and it look black i got the two you talking about they are in sepet wrap

Does the truck have AC? I think a green wire is used for that and there would also be a seperate black wire too.

Just a guess...

Are all of your gages working? I have a black wire running to my oil pressure sensor. The only other black wire I have is the one going to my elec. choke.
