Adjust it on the hinges, You need another person to do it. Loosen the bolts then slide the passenger side closer to the cab. etc. etc.

Re: cannot ge hood to line up between fenders

I got this tip from a fellow board member when trying to adjust my hood. With a person on one side of the vehicle and someone else on the opposite side of the vehicle, on the count of three, one pulls and the other pushes the hood toward the side that has the largest gap. This will allow the hinges to "spring" in that direction. It worked for me. It took a couple of tries, but it worked.

Mine was like that and I put shims between the hinge on the driver side. Still not perfect but its a lot closer.

Re: cannot get hood to line up between fenders

How far has your truck been taken apart? There could be a host of problems that could be giving you trouble.
1.) Is your cab square on the chassis?
2.) Are your hinges worn out?
3.) are the front fenders and core support square to the cab?

You might try loosening the core support bushings and pushing the front fenders and core support toward the driver's side.

If your hinges are worn out then you will fight them untill the cows come home and still not get it right. WES

I agree 100% ..you have to check the squareness to get the front end correct. We sometimes even loosen the front cab mounts to line things up.replacing front ends rarely are just "bolt new parts back on."This is true on old trucks and late model to. Check you diaginols from a point on the firewall to the same point on the front. should be damn close. 1/4 " off is generally ok. Get the cab square and you can also see any front frame damage easier also.
