'55 - '59 Short Step: What do you weigh?
I'm trying to come up with some basic chassis mods for my upcoming mods and need to know how much a '55 - '59 short stepside truck weighs. I've searched but haven't been able to come up with anything. Thanks in advance for your help!

Depends...(some of us dont have the stock frame, suspension ect. which might drop a few pounds and if it has a big block or not is going to affect your answer)
but i would venture to say 3350ish?? maybe alittle more with my 454ci but i havent got weighed yet...self esteem issues ![]() ![]()

Re: '55 - '59 Short Step: What do you weigh?
My stock 59 short fleetside 6 3 speed was about 3400#. When I added the V8, TH350, cast iron 203 tranfercase and front differental it ended up at 3850 according to the junk yard scales.
