late 70's bumpers
i was given a perfect bumper from a 70's-80's chevy pickup andi am wondering if anyone knows if it will swap onto a 68 easily or wil i have to custom make some bumper mounts for it to fit right

to custom make some bumper mounts for it to fit right is just 2 cuts 2 welds and 4 holes to drill for the frame bolts. the 73 and up bumper mounts i used were cut and welded to a 3 x 1/2 by apx 8 inchs of flat bar with the the holes drilled to bolt to the frame. this worked well for my 73-87 rear step bumper. had to custom fit to get the right look

Here's a pic of dad's '73-up (I think, correct me if I'm wrong guys) rear bumper. He removed the old step bumper that it had when he got the truck. I hope this helps to give you a visual.

that looks like an aftermarket bumper in the second pic there... doesn't look like a factory one to me.

i should have said front bumper, im pretty sure longhorn man is right that is an aftermarket bumper
