Queston about Hooker Super Comp Headers
I noticed that there is one part # for 63-67, and another for 68-87. Anyone know what the differenct is? I was told that they were different and they only fit the trucks that they were meant for. This is for a s/b 2wd truck.

You looking at the ones on eBay? I checked with Hooker, and they said there were some differences in the bends, because there was a frame change on the '68 trucks. See my post "Frame Differences". Fast68 said that the '67 didn't have that curled up edge on the pass-side of the frame, so maybe that's it. Hooker said that the everything seems to be the same dimensions on the 2801 and 2808 headers, just bent differently.

I gave a set from my 77 to my soninlaw with a 72 Blazer. He has them on there now. Only problem was on the passenger side the header came very close to the bolt on the shackle. (Very close). I would have turned the shackle bolt around if had beeen mine, for more clearence.
